Privacy Policy

Product scoring runs on your device. We do not receive your Amazon browsing history, saved products or notes automatically. Optional Chrome sync is off by default. This version does not add affiliate tags or show promotional offers.

Information processed on your device

The extension reads product titles, ASINs, product URLs, star ratings, review counts and displayed prices on supported Amazon pages. It calculates review-strength and optional page-relative value scores locally. It does not access Amazon account credentials, orders, payment information, messages or checkout fields.

When you save a product, its product details, canonical Amazon URL, list membership, notes, save time and up to eight saved snapshots are kept in Chrome local storage. Scoring preferences, saved lists and presets are also stored locally. Product snapshots are updated only when you choose to save again; the extension does not monitor prices in the background.

Optional Chrome sync

If you enable the explicitly labelled Chrome sync setting, your saved product details, URLs, notes, lists and presets are written to chrome.storage.sync. Google Chrome may transmit these records through your Chrome sync account to your other browsers. Google processes this data according to Google's Privacy Policy. The developer does not operate or receive this sync service.

Chrome sync must be enabled in your browser, and storage quotas apply. Turning extension sync off stops further sync writes but leaves any existing synced copy in your Google account. Use Delete synced copy in Settings to remove the extension's synced records. Local records remain on your device. Other devices can still retain their previously downloaded local copies.

Optional local activity counters

Local activity counters are off by default. If you enable them, the extension keeps daily counts of score displays, panel opens, product saves, comparison views, CSV exports, preset saves and Pro research actions. Counts are retained for up to 90 days. They contain no product IDs, URLs, notes, email addresses or persistent user identifiers. They are not automatically transmitted to the developer or an analytics provider. You can export them yourself; disabling the setting clears them.

Exports, feedback and Pro research

CSV exports and library backups are downloaded to your device. Backups can contain saved product URLs and personal notes, so share them only deliberately. Local activity exports contain feature counts only.

Feedback and the optional Pro research survey prepare an email draft in your chosen mail application. Nothing is sent automatically. If you send that email, we receive your email address and the content you choose to send and use it to respond or evaluate product demand. Do not include sensitive information in feedback or notes. Pro research is not a purchase, charge or subscription.

Website and store attribution

This website uses no analytics cookies or third-party tracking scripts. Install links include campaign parameters so the Chrome Web Store can report aggregate listing visits and installs through its own Google Analytics integration. An install-button click is not treated as a completed install. Chrome Web Store and Google process store visits under their own policies. The website hosting provider may process ordinary request metadata, including IP addresses and browser information, to deliver and secure the website.

Permissions and external links

activeTab connects the popup or comparison panel with the active Amazon tab. storage stores preferences and your library locally and enables optional Chrome sync. sidePanel displays the persistent comparison panel. Content scripts run only on the supported Amazon marketplace domains listed in the manifest, not on arbitrary websites.

Opening a product link visits Amazon under Amazon's own privacy policy. This release does not add our affiliate tracking ID, rewrite native Amazon links, inject ads or sell browsing data. All extension code is bundled; there is no remotely loaded executable code.

Your choices

You can remove saved products or lists, change notes, delete presets, turn off local counters, delete synced records, export your library or uninstall the extension. Uninstalling removes the extension's local storage but may not remove a previously synced copy or files you exported. To request deletion of feedback emails or discuss privacy, contact orgfirsat@gmail.com. We retain feedback only as needed to respond, develop the product or meet applicable obligations.

Limited Use

Our use of information from Chrome APIs follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy and Limited Use requirements. Product data and saved URLs are used only for the comparison, library, export and optional sync features described here. They are not used for advertising, credit decisions or unrelated purposes.

Children and changes

This product is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit their personal information. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
